So on Monday, The Abu Dhabi Group (Rich-ass Arab company) bought Manchester City Football Club and made clear of their plans to turn Manchester City into "the Biggest Football Club in the world." With less than 24hrs left in the transfer window Manchester City also managed to snatch Brazilian Superstar Robinho onto their roster, whom had been linked with a transfer to English giants, Chelsea all summer. This pretty much came as a shock to everybody who knows anything about soccer. If Robinho would have arrived at Chelsea, it would have pretty much sealed their fate as Champions League and Premiere League Champions. Now that Man City has Robinho as their headliner, the club has publicly stated that they plan to sign more 'galacticos' to the club in the near future. Some of the big namers include: Brazilian fatso Ronaldo, Cristiano Ronaldo, Cesc Fabregas, Thierry Henry, and Fernando Torres. I highly doubt that Man City will be able to sign any of those superstars, but we'll see which player sells out to the power of the almighty dollar (or euro, rather). But I'm very interested to see if Manchester City can get a finish within the top 4 this yr in the premiere league.
